Founder’s Diary — Today at VRIDHEE
Today, a bride walked in with her parents.
She wasn’t confused about outfits.
She was simply tired of deciding.
Between guest lists, venues, expectations, and endless planning, the excitement of the wedding had quietly turned into pressure.
We didn’t begin with fabrics.
We began with conversation.
Her mother spoke more than the bride — like most mothers do.
Her father listened quietly, observing everything.
Somewhere between outfit discussions and laughter, time slowed down…
and without planning it, we ended up sharing lunch together at the studio.
For a moment, it didn’t feel like clients and designer.
It felt like family preparing for a celebration.
When they were leaving, her father smiled and said,
“Now it finally feels like the wedding has started.”
That stayed with me.
Because VRIDHEE was never meant to be just a store.
It was meant to be a space where weddings feel lighter, warmer, and more personal.
Some days we design clothes.
Some days we share stories.
And some days, we simply sit together over lunch and become part of someone’s journey.
Today was one of those days.
